Sameh Abadir is an accomplished academic, author, and executive educator specializing in negotiation, conflict management, crisis management, and leadership.

Prior to joining IMD Business School in 2018, he served as an adjunct professor at INSEAD for 15 years, where he received awards for both Best Professor and Best Program Director.

Before entering academia, Sameh held an executive position with Sodexo, one of the world’s largest multinational corporations. He also served in the Egyptian Special Forces from 1985 to 1988. His combination of military, corporate, and academic experience brings a distinctive and practical perspective to leadership development and executive education.

Sameh holds an MBA from the Paris Institute of Political Studies, commonly known as Sciences Po, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
